its an oils system that doesnt store the oil in the oil pan, it has an external "sump" also with an external oil pump. the pump has dual purpose, to take suction from the engine sump, to keep it dry and pump it into the external sump. then it takes suction from the external sump and pumps it...

I have a 2001 TJ, 4.0 and am wondering if there is a dry oil sump system out there for this engine. Does anyone know where I can find one? Has anyone successfully completed this swap? if so, please tell me more about it. thanks
