    Like Jeep fender flares

I went on youtube to find support for my wild claims but there appears to be none. I found a few forum posts that talk about making the plastic brittle, but those appear to be in the minority. It looks like my idea that "you can only do this one time" may not be accurate 🤥

I've heard that it only works one time on the fenders. Not sure if that is true or not. I've always pressure washed mine and then put some mothers back to black on them (my fenders are a dark gray). Works for about 2-3 months before I need to reapply.

    Happy New Year 2[emoji[emoji6[emoji640]2][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640]2]]2[emoji6[emoji640]1]

Happy new year everyone. I'm a bit late - just got back in town from our New Years celebrations. I really hope that 2025 is a better year than 2024. That was a tough one!

    Merry Christmas everyone

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas this year! Hopefully things are going well at your house - we got hit with some sort of bug almost two weeks ago. We're about 80% better but still on the mend. I think we'll be right as rain for New Years. Anyone looking for some good Jeep related gifts?

TJ rear springs not lining up

Limiting straps are a pretty good idea, and I hadn't thought of that. I'll do the paint mark too - thanks.

TJ rear springs not lining up

You're right, it may do that. It is under tension, even when fully flexed out - the shock and rear swaybar keep it under tension. I was unable to jack up the frame and spin / move the spring. We'll see how it goes.

TJ rear springs not lining up

You've hit the nail on the head with this one. My passenger rear tire was at 12 psi while my driver side was at 30. That was the original cause of my lean , but in looking to it more, I noticed the passenger spring wasn't centered in the top bucket. As superj suggested, I jacked the Jeep up and...

TJ rear springs not lining up

I just renewed support for the forum, and have updated us to the latest software. Let me know if you see anything goofy.

TJ rear springs not lining up

I didn't know the stock had a slight bend in it, that's interesting. Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill. I'm going to take the tire off and see if the spring isn't seated wrong, like superj mentioned. I want to make sure the top of the spring is centered correctly.

TJ rear springs not lining up

It's the rear spring, but I think I understand what you mean. There's a groove or spot for the end of the spring if I remember. I'll pull the wheel off and droop it out tomorrow and take a look.

TJ rear springs not lining up

I have a feeling the real issue is that my springs have an arch in them because the buckets are not properly aligned. Here's a photo of what looks to be an arch in the spring on my passenger side. I wonder if new coil spring isolators would help center the spring (but not fix the arch)...

TJ rear springs not lining up

I noticed a little bit of lean toward the passenger side of my Jeep. After crawling under and looking around it looks like the passenger side spring isn't positioned correctly. In the spring bucket. I've got 3.5 in lift springs so I gather that things are not going to line up perfectly. Is there...

What did you do to your Jeep today?

I finally got back out on the trail. Went with some buddies to Peters Mill Run up in Northern Virginia. We had a great time and I put in for the badge through the " Jeep badge of honor" app. My 19-year-old Jeep is just getting broken in at 177777 miles. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk

1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ - Door Locks & Cylinders

Are you sure that you have YJ doors? I believe that you can put CJ doors on a YJ. Maybe someone swapped yours?

What did you do to your Jeep today?

No, I put some Moog rubber bushing in that I had bought some time ago. I didn't know that Metalcloak make upgraded bushings, they look good, But I'm not sure I'd trust my welding skills just yet. I saw some Iron Rock bushings that are press in, but didn't want my Jeep down while I waited on...

What did you do to your Jeep today?

It took quite a bit of work but I was finally able to press out the bushing with a ball joint press. Definitely not a job I want to do again. Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk

What did you do to your Jeep today?

Well I had intended to change the upper Axle bushings, but all I ended up doing was mangling them. I'll hit up the parts store tomorrow for a press. Wish me luck Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk
