you are going to have to reach in towards the latch assembly and flip the arm to open the teeth that clamp the bar on the frame side of door jamb. sometimes the seatbelt gets in between the door and jamb and jams the latch assembly and you have to almost kick the door to get it to open, is why...

is it just really stuck? like if you pull the rod that releases the latch normally and push hard, it won't pop open? otherwise, its access the inside and start removing stuff

That should be it. There is a bolt that sits there and some hooks that hook the edge of the pulley or in the holes. You tighten the bolt and pull the pulley off the shaft

The hub should be the center part that goes around the shaft protruding from the pump.

nothing near the exhaust and no melted looking spots? if the reverse light wire connected down on the transmission near the shifter? if so, maybe that is rubbed and caused the short? maybe when the engine torqued over, it caused the wire to touch the transmission and popped the fuses?

swap in another battery to also test that out. like the one from the car it could just be the battery is done and killing it
