Check out this cool little endoscope for $5

Earlier I had posted about changing my spark plugs, and it got me curious as to what my cylinders and top-end look like. I thought about buying one of the expensive endoscopes or cameras off of Amazon, but I ended up cheaping out. For $5 including shipping, I bought this USB camera off of...

    leaking from freedom panels

I don't have your model of Jeep, but you may try removing the panels and cleaning the weather stripping well - possibly using some sort of rubber conditioner. Get a couple of pitchers of water and have someone pour it on the top while you watch inside. Maybe you could find the exact point...

    New Jeepz.com coming soon!

Just a heads up - if anyone is having problems with the Jeepz.com app, or Tapatalk, you may need to log out of the app and back in for it to work.

    leaking from freedom panels

What year and model Jeep do you have? I know that when my Jeep gets soaked, I put a really strong fan / air circulator in the back seat pointed at the floor, that usually dries everything up. Not a good long term solution for you, but it works in a pinch.

    Hello

Welcome. Do you have a Jeep? If so, what model?

    ford rear ends on jeeps

Old thread I know, but I was just reading this. I wonder if the 7.5 came stock with disc brakes. That would be a plus. The 8.8 is a C clip axle, but the disc brakes keep a broken shaft from walking all the way out.

What is everyone asking for Christmas?

Two different families that I'm friends with have just caught Covid. It's going around again.

What is everyone asking for Christmas?

I'm getting a new bidirectional ODBII sensor that hooks into my phone. Probably not needed for my old TJ, but should be good for the wife's Highlander. What are you guys looking for?

What does this tire valve tool do?

Do you screw the threaded part of the silver one into the valve stem to release air? That would make sense I suppose.

What does this tire valve tool do?

I've been putting together an offroad toolkit to take on an upcoming trip. One of the recommendations was to get some spare tire valve cores, as people often remove (and loose) them when airing down. I picked up this kit on amazon: Screwdriver style and the one with the blue center seem to...

    New Jeepz.com coming soon!

I've got some exciting news - there is a new Jeepz.com on the horizon! Currently, we are running Vbulletin, a forum software from 2016. It has served us well, however many aspects of it are broken or failing. I've done my best to patch things, but it's a loosing battle. Now the good news -...

Opinions on Skyjacker dual rate springs?

After going for a couple of rides by myself I've decided this isn't a problem. I go offroading twice a year, and I'm just going to tell the boys to deal with it. That was a good catch on the bump stops. I never thought about that.

Opinions on Skyjacker dual rate springs?

You've totally got me there. The only time I get complaints are when I've got 3 or more people in my Jeep, and 220 is probably spot on.

Screwed up changing out spark plugs - multiple cylinder misfires

In the last two weeks I've done two things: 1. Added a can of seafoam to my gas tank, and ran an entire tank of gas through. 2. Used Seafoam spray into the air intake. The traditional Seafoam can no longer recommends that you add liquid seafoam to your intake - it says that if you want to add...

Opinions on Skyjacker dual rate springs?

I've heard that as well, and did some investigating on their website. I was surprised to learn that ARB owns OME. It looks like OME makes 2" lift coils, with the primary difference being the weight rating for the rear springs - 140 , 160, 216, or 250 lbs. I'll have to think some more on this...

Opinions on Skyjacker dual rate springs?

Skyjacker is free shipping with 15% off right now I was looking at Savvy as well - I have their control arms and love them. They are quite a bit more than the Skyjacker.

Opinions on Skyjacker dual rate springs?

My buddies say that my TJ rides rough, and while I don't disagree, it seems similar to all the other Jeeps I've owned (CJs and YJs). I currently run Rough Country 2.5" springs that I bought somewhere around 2012. I'm thinking about getting some Skyjacker 2.5" dual rate springs. In theory...
