    4.2 vs 4.0

I guess a lot of depends on what the jeeps being used for? The 4.0 vs 4.2, in my opinion the 4.0 has better aftermarket support. Also fuel injection is sooo nice! I messed around with too many carbs in my short little life. If you're looking for high RPM power start looking into a V8 swap, other...

    Custom TJ front bumper

I only have 2 of these bumpers left. Get one before I make my next batch and keep the Jeepz $20 discount, otherwise prices are going up do to the rising cost of steel. Also if anyone is interested, I have this bumper available in a BYOB kit(build your own bumper). I have one kit left, and...

    Custom TJ front bumper

Why not just use an aftermarket steering box skid? They're usually no more than $45 and fit relatively snug to the box. As far as the winch, I'd like to see how that is fitted. PTO on a wrangler sounds interesting and cool. Best of luck and keep us informed.

    wisconsin jeepers check in

NSW4x4.com :: Index This is the site that my club uses the most, the forum largest in northern MN and the second largest in the state. If you wanted to hook up with someone up at the park this would help. Most of the guys only live 30-40 min away.

    Custom TJ front bumper

As you found out, no bumpers made out of 2x4. Just out of curiosity, what needs to be mounted for the strength? With these being made out of 1/4" there is more than enough beef. The only thing this design wouldn't be able to do is hold air (like a 2x4 can be boxed in as an aux. air tank).

    Enough interest?

Price is bare metal. I like powder coat, but for what you put into it and then just end up scraping it off on the rocks, it just didn't make sense to me. I suggest Dupli Color self etching primer followed by a rattle can flat black. It's a lot easier to pop another coat on after the first coat...

I guess I've never had problems with lots of stuff getting caught inbetween the body and the rocker. I was running a set very similar to the new on I put on and never really had an issue. As far as a bolt for the body mount, I tried to make the mounting as simple as possible. This way you don't...

I'm just accross the boarder from ya (yup...one of those MN guys)! Not to many folks from the Midwest on this board. If you're ever up north and wanting to wheel, the ORV Park in Gilbert is a blast. I usually spend as many weekends up there as I can. I've never been to Apple Valley, but I...

If you plan on having a couple weeks between the installs just don't use 4wd. I'd pull the front drive shaft just to be safe(never know what might happen:twisted:) Good luck with the installs!

UPS is telling me $47.50, I'm thinking I can do a little better. If you have paypal, that's usually the easiest. Shoot me an email with your paypal account, and I'll send you a bill. Easy as pie....

$185 for TJ's at the moment. If I had an LJ to measure up I'd be making them, same goes for YJ's and CJ's. I'll have access to a CJ this spring when the snow melts so hopefully those will be available sooner than later.

    Enough interest?

I've been designing some hard parts for TJ's (mostly front bumeprs) the past couple months and again thought I'd ask around here for some input. I just finished a rocker slider design, so far I have a protype and a short production run for some friends. I was interested to see if you guy would...
