    What ya think?

I've been working on a shorty front bumper design for the past couple weeks and this is what I've come up with....... Its a C-channel design that mimics a stock front bumper. Its been cut to 44", kept the same height, and trimmed at the corners for more clearance. For added beef, the bumper is...

    Headers?

I'd stay away from the Rugged Ridge headers. I have one on my 4.0 and about a year after installing one of their welds failed. I tried to get them to replace it, as it was faulty craftsmanship, but they wouldn't budge. So like most things in life...you pay for what you get. Borla has some nice...

    Faded Flare Remedy

I've had painted flares before and never had much luck with them. My tj had painted flares when I got it. The guy previous to me had used automotive grade plastic paint. Looked great untill I flexed a flare out on a tree and then it was all down hill from there. This is what they looked like...

    Your 2 cents

Got a chance to stuff a tire on them before I pull them back off for the stock fenders. Seems like plenty of room. For reference the tires are 33's.

    Faded Flare Remedy

Another trick that works is taking a torch to them. Just run a simple propane torch over them quickly and it brings them back. A heat gun works well also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXN4WImSaqE&feature=related%20[/URL"]

    Tj sterring box questions

For your rear main, loosen all the main cap bolts about 1 full turn. Should give you enough clearance to slide the upper half of the rear main in with little trouble. I will warn ya, they are a complete pain the the whahooo to do thou. Have fun, let us know how it turns out. OH,. and make sure...

My new Ground Pounder Fab Jeep bumper

Eddie builds some damn fine bumpers. I picked up a rear from him last winter. Had 4 guys around the 250lbs range hanging off the tire carrier and not even a wiggle. If you want an exceptional bumper get a hold of Eddie.

    New Jeep

Dimensions are as follows: 42"x12"x5", I'd assume it will be a little bigger when boxed. It weights around 26lbs. As far as shipping, you're paying so what ever works. I know UPS and the Postal service are in town. Fed Ex would be a little drive.

    Your 2 cents

Its not that they break at 20, I just haven't got them in colder temps yet. The lowest temp I've flexed them in is 20, its just getting to warm out now to for true cold weather testing. I will say they flex fine at that temp and return to shape without any problems. I've also noticed they don't...

    New Jeep

I've got a used Curt Hitches class 3, 2" receiver you can have. You'd just need new mounting hardware and to pay for the shipping, unless you're somewhere around MN. Its yours if you want it.

I'm demoing/"cold weather" testing a set of Modern Classic Enterprises Flatty Fenders. I just got the finishing touches done and want some input on them. So far what I have heard is they're ugly. I haven't done much testing on them yet, but needless to say I won't be keeping these. They cost...

Evap leak code on '03 TJ, 4.0, auto

Not sure, but I think after 02, law required a Charcoal evaporation can for fuel systems. Might wana check the lines in and out of that? Never owned a Jeep that new, but I know on other vehicles its close to the gas tank.

    Help Me Please!!!

When you purchased the Posi-Lock did you also purchase the case fork they sell? I had this same problem on my YJ, ended up that the factory fork had to much play in it. It would engage if there wasn't any stress on it (for example when it was on jack stands). But any time I drove it wouldn't...

    Gear Question

Trust me, it may suck now, but you won't regret the wait. A stronger axle is by far the better investment.
