    Finally lifted

I had been kicking it around for a while and I finally bit the bullet. Decided on a Rock Krawler 4inch long arm kit. Here's some pics This is what I started with http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v494/jeeperwilly/New%20legs/P1010009.jpg New skidplate and subframe...

    WMS to WMS

Well for now it'll only be turing 33's so I think I should be safe with the 30 splines. When I do move up in size I'll swap the shafts then.

    TJ mileage

Yup sure was, A 92 and then I put a 95 2.5 in. The 95 got slightly better milage but I sold it shortly after. The first engine was pretty old and tired. It had been through a ton. It was actually completely swamped at one point and time. Thats actually how I found this board, but thats a...

    WMS to WMS

It's already been shortened, that and I don't have enough money (or proper tools) to buy it and shorten it. I'm putting a lift in the Jeep in a couple weeks, I'll measure then to find out for sure. Unless I get a definate anwer on here I'll have to wait till then to decide. The guys still has...

    WMS to WMS

Thanks Joopin. Guess I won't be be buying that D60, its about 5 inches too wide for my taste.

    WMS to WMS

For life of me, I can't remember what the width is of a D35 in TJ. I know its somewhere on the net, but I just can't find it. Anyone know?

    Rock Krawler Suspension

Thanks bounty, I know it's kinda a unique setup and it's already caused me a few set backs. I'll probably call toms tomorrow. I only have two weeks left till I start the build.

    Rock Krawler Suspension

I plan on running JB's Super Short SYE. Normally I would just have the local driveline shop toss one together, but I found a deal on a kit that includes a Tom Woods shaft with the SYE. I'm just trying to get all my parts and pieces together so I can have the whole thing finished in 2-3 days. You...

    Rock Krawler Suspension

Anybody on here running one or know someone who is? I'm looking more specifically for someone running a 4in long on a TJ. I need the measurements from the t-case to the pinion, so I can have a shaft ready to go when I drop mine in. Thanks guys,

    JB's SS SYE

The reason I'm considering this is because the 4 in. long arm lift i got has a skid that raises the belly up 1 1/2 inches. Figure if I ever wanted to stuff 6 inch coils in there, it would be nice to have.

    JB's SS SYE

Anybody running one of these or know someone who is? Looks like a pretty stout product. They say it's 3 inches shorter then a standard SYE. Just looking for some feedback before I make up my mind. http://www.jbconversions.com/pages/products/np231/np231j_short_sye.html

    Tank material on a 94YJ

    Should be a poly tank.

Gas pouring out the back of the YJ

I've had the seals around the top of the tank fail on me before. Gas will only leak when the tanks full. Its the main rubber gasket between the poly tank and the metal bolt-on top of the sending unit. It's a pain to change. If it does end up being this make sure you only torque the bolts to the...

    4 banger YJ

My $.02, it's a great little engine. As long as you don't go to big for tires, the 4 little hamsters will turn the wheels just fine. I had a 92 with 31's,1 in shackle lift, scarped the rear track bar, and fabed some homemade disconnects for the swaybar. That little jeep could hang with guys on...

    97 Driver seat

Seems like the first pin that holds the seat from reclining is broke. So basically the seat is at a slight recline perminately. My old YJ had the same problem, but it wasn't this bad. Is there anyway to fix this or am I looking at replacing it?

Need transmission for 95 wrangler 2.4

$1200 for synchro's seems a bit steep. I had mine done a couple years back for half of that. However, if you're feeling adventurous, I have a spare that needs a light rebuild(input shaft bearings). I don't know if your mechanically inclined or not, but you could have it at a reasonable price and...
