    What have you guys heard?

Speaking of cheap lifts, i've been looking at Rough Country's Rock Krawler 4in long arm kit. So far, I've found no one who runs this kit. I know RC is a cheaper lift brand, but is it worth putting in a cheap LA or a well respected pricier SA? In the long run it's gonna be about the same price...

    Pozi-Lok

If you start having problems again, you might need to replace the stock aluminum shift fork with a steel one. I installed one this summer and I was having the same problems you where. Took me a few times of pulling it all apart and calling Posi-Lock to find out what was wrong. What happens is...

    2WD Rubicon?!?!??!

That's because it is. They moved the fuel tank up and attached it to the inside frame rail. Basically swapping the position of the muffler and the gas tank. Dumb idea if you want my $0.02

What is there to do in Vegas?

Don't live there, but visited a few times. If you don't mind a short drive and you enjoy hiking, I'd highly suggest Red Rock Canyon. But then again I'm a northerner that doesn't get to see big rock formations like that, so it may not be your cup of tea. Either way enjoy the trip.

    What have you guys heard?

Thanks Utah. I do understand the suspension principles between a YJ and a TJ. Two very differt beasts. I also understand that a long kit is way better than a short kit for many reasons, but the ultimate factor here is the almight buck. Basically if I put more money into the lift, that means my...

    What have you guys heard?

I did plan on installing a JB Super short SYE along with a new drive shaft. I already have new lines for the brake and shocks would be assumed since stock shocks just don't seem to extend the right lenght when you put on bigger springs ;) Even if I did save for a long arm(which I would love to...

    What have you guys heard?

I'm looking at putting a lift in a TJ. I've got it narrowed down to a 3in BDS(measures 4.5 after install) or a 4in Full Traction short arm kit . I know BDS has a dang good product and the "you break it-they buy it" warrenty is rock solid. I'm just wondering if Full Traction has a well made...

    Help me find this guy!

So about 2 months ago I had posted in the want section that I was looking for some lockers for a D30, D35, And D44. Got some posts back, but about a month after I had originally posted, a guy that goes by neverdone cj on this board, PM'd me to sell me a Lock-right for my D30. Long story short...

    Cracked frame

Lower money has gotten to be quite the trail. I remember when the park opened I could take my jeep with 31's down it. Now you practically need 44's to get though the muck or a lot o' flex to get though the rock garden. I guess they made a few new trails since last year. Headin' up on the 22nd...

    Cracked frame

I'm up at gilbert atleast 2 times a month in the summer. Never been to Ma and Pa's. I've heard that its a big horse power kinda place. Thats something i lack in with a 2.5. More of a rock and trail sort of guy. Thanks to the rest of you guys for your input, I'll have someone else weld it then...

    Cracked frame

Never had a frame crack on me before. I'm going to weld it but I'm wondering if my now daily driver should be moved into the category of full time trail rig? I just don't trust the thing with a patch going down the hwy at 75. Am I worring about this to much, should I just shut up and patch it...

    Rebuilding an AX5

I'm rebuilding a spare for someone else. If i were going to upgrade, I would defineatly go with the AX-15. However, the AX-5 in my jeep has help up pretty good over time. I've been running Amsoil in it since I got the vehicle and haven't had any problems with the syncros gettting eaten up...
