Yep and to get the best weld the surface should be cleaned of anything else in the first place.

I like 8" wide wheels for that tire.

Did that fix it? also make sure your air pressure is the same in all your tires.

What kind of metal? Is it an aftermarket header? Either way yes you can certainly weld it, but for the best weld you'll want to find out what metal it is.

They do make kits to use the towed rig's brake system...but last I looked just for the hell of it a good setup was around $1500 or so. Maybe they're cheaper now, and I never looked into it all that much since my truck has no trouble stopping with anything behind it:D

I've daily driven my jeep for years with no sway bar and have been just fine. As you found out, it handles different then with it on...but just adjust your driving too it.
