Heat... Got ya. However, would it be best to just try and find / order a gear box with a pitman arm attached so I can just take out the whole thing and replace with a new arm and box?

Does it matter what year durango gear box? Also, what are your thoughts about a used gear box from junk yard or a rebuilt one? been looking at ebay. The shop said it would cost me $290, but I would rather find a good one myself... thoughts?
