I added the ATF to the engine oil and started it and the ticking has ceased. I'm hoping that it doesnt come back. Thanks for the help B.H. now is something that I'll have to do every time I change the oil now or just when I hear the same ticking noises?

So about 7K miles ago I noticed that when I place my 03 TJ auto transmission into park or out of park I meet some resistance. I've just continued on with it but I'd like to know what is the cause of this. It is quite a bit of resistance my wife has a hard time with it and I have to push it all...

I'm almost positive that the only time it ticks is when it cold and not warmed up yet. What does this mean?

I added another quart of oil and it is still ticking. Check my transmission fluid levels and they are good. Still ticking in the engine I really don't like the noise. I'll take a close look at the exhaust manifold tomorrow.

I installed the rear upper adjustable control arms and raised the belly back to normal. I like the look I may have to adjust the pinion angle a little bit more. Still waiting on the steering stabilizer. I too have a little wooble around 45-55 mph.

I've always used 4 qts 10W 30, but I did use a different oil filter this time used Fram instead of the normal K and N. So, just poor ATF down the where you put the oil? Will this end up being a bad idea later on? 03 Sahara 6 cyl 57K

Just the other day I gave my Jeep an oil and filter change and I started noticing a little ticking in the engine department. Not sure what this is if it may be cold or what it tend to lessen as it warms up. I also noticed that the transmission fluid may be leaking a little from the drain cap...

Yes it is the death wooble. So I took it to another guy and he took a look at the alignment and it was way off. He re aligned it and it is driving much much better. The stealership did a poor job in the first place. I'm need to learn how to fix these problems myself before I get ripped off...

They said that they did an alignment on it, but I still get really bad wooble in the steering when I go over 45 mph, he recommends a new stabilizer shock. What do you think?

I'm not to familiar with changing the axle gear ratio and regearing. What kind of process are we talking about here for the type of tire modifications I'm trying to make? I would like to keep or gain more power onroad and off. How do you lose more sidewall protect with larger wheels? Also...
