Has anyone out there with a new jeep had any problem with voided warranties due to aftermarket mods/parts? For example lift kits, K&N air intakes, bigger tires, or any other mods. The mechanic at the dealership where I got my jeep said ANY modification would void my bumper to bumper warranty.

I was wondering what mods I can do to really improve gas mileage. A friend said the a new K&N filter with the throttle body spacer will help out a lot but he don’t have a jeep. Also he said a bug deflector might help sounds dumb but that’s why am asking for advice.

I have a 2003 TJ. I always take my jeep to the do it yourself carwash when I comes time to spay the wax on I just try not to get it on the soft top but over spray gets on it and my top looks great. So I wouldn’t worry about it just don’t spay directly on it and you should me fine.

Thanks for the info but what is the difference in coil spacers and body lifts? I guess what im asking is what are the pros and cons. And with a spacer lift will I have to change or adjust anything else. Also will it change how my on road driving is affected. Also what do you think about K&N air...
