    Touch My Jeep?

I like the "Hang on: I want to try something..." because I'm constantly saying that to my wife when we're wheelin' the Jeep :). Also the No Problem/Problem one is good. I might have to pick some of those up.

    Tiressss

The main problem isn't your gearing it's the 2.5. I'm not saying it's a bad engine it's just a bit of a dog when you start adding extra weight. You could put the 32's on and re-gear and be fine.

    Rear spring not seated correctly?

Ok, thanks. I have extended bumpstops so I'm not worried about it completely coming out but I noticed the driver's side looked centered and that one looked off so I wasn't sure if it was a problem.

    Rear spring not seated correctly?

I was looking at my TJ earlier and I noticed that the passenger side rear spring doesn't seem to be centered in the cup at the top. It looks like it's not seated properly. The drivers side looks ok. Is this normal or should I be concerned about this? Here's the best picture I have of it right now.

    Long or short...

The standard Skyjacker kit would be fine, but honestly you can get a good budget lift for $200 or so and you really won't notice any better performance from the standard Skyjacker kit. I would suggest either the Rubicon Express 2" budget lift or the Rough Country budget lift, both are good. If...

    Long or short...

Depends on how you use the Jeep. If you don't get off road much this kit would be fine. I bought this kit initially when I was thinking about going from a 2" budget lift to a 4" short arm. The kit was on sale at 4WD Hardware for $480 with free shipping. The problem is, after I bought it on an...

    Worth every penny

Around the top of the hill in Cockeysville where I live it was definitely 10-12" although most of the area around was less than that, more like 6-7".

    Warning Ticket!

Exactly. But the warning itself won't be reported to your insurance or count as points on your license or anything like that. That's why they call it a warning ;).

    Worth every penny

I've mentioned it before, but I live in the northern suburbs of Baltimore, MD. As most of you (in the U.S.) probably know, we had a major winter storm on the east coast yesterday. Here, on Tuesday the news said we wouldn't get any snow until last night, and they were predicting 1-3". I woke...

Rebel chapter jeeper makes magazine cover

Sweet. Congrats man. I picked up the issue last year, I'll have to pick this one up too. The issue last year was a nice read, although I had already read some of the articles in JP.

    Worst stuck

So far this is my only "stuck". Got high centered on a hidden rock or something. There was a stock TJ Rubicon in front of me and he couldn't pull me out. Took an old Dodge Ramcharger to get me out.

Problems noted with Rough Country 4" TJ lift...

Or if you feel like spending more coin Advance Adapters now makes a cable shifter for the t-case in TJ and JK Wranglers for like $269 that supposedly shifts smooth as silk no matter what.

Pretty good, suspensions done (for now), just put a Rock-It intake on...and finishing up some modifications to the engine/tranny skid to clear the driveshaft when the suspension is fully flexed.

    AMC 20 IS in TJ

FWIW, I've been on this forum since I ordered my TJ from the factory almost 5 years ago (wow, has it really been that long?), and I have asked some really dumb questions on here and everyone has been very patient and helpful and I really appreciate it :).
