we made it out in january, and the ice was unreal, one rig lost a brake line, another lost a radiator. all due to the ice it took a couple hours to make it up valley road. and we were sliding the whole weekend.

i got a set of front tow hooks and brackets comin on monday. sweet stainless set for 75.00. my question is has anyone done this already?? im lookin for install time, im thinking a leisurely couple of hours.

you might be able to get it out with the transmission, if you remove the radiator and maybe some of the grill assembly too, but definitly not with the tcase. its not too much work to disconnect the transmission.

about the skyjacker 8"... there wouldnt be any money left for tires, that might look a little funny and you can spend my money however you wish, because there isnt any....besides tow hooks are first on the list, i was wishin i had them last weekend. but the shackle did the job

numbersevn the 35s might work. theres not much flax to a cj. and it you do break an axle it would be a good excuse to upgrade. the AMC20 has a bad rap too. i plan on running 36s on mine. with a chevy350 pushin it all.
