    its about time i chime in on this. its not a heap...its my jeep. true. it sits in my driveway, but not forever. i got a power steering box for it, not in yet. the wiring is much better now, although not perfect. it actually runs now, although the idle could be better. other than that...

    it could have been the 5 feet of water you went through that messed up your switch. but i guess the light seems minor compared to the altenator and starter.

    changing rear yolk seal

    i have an AMC20 and noticed that the yolk seal is spitting oil. this seems like an esay enough operation, but have never done it before. is there anything i need other than the seal?? and is there a trick to getting the old one out??

    yeah, its running. not sure where the timing is supposed to be, but its set @ 8 BTC. but it started leaking a little oil. i planned on doin a timing gasket and a pan gasket, but i think i might as well do the front seal too. needs a pressure hose to the steering too. among other things.

    the new starter works awesome. cranks way better and doesnt drain the battery like it did b4. i was under the impression that starters either turn or they dont. the problem i have now is the timing. its way out of wack. i retimed it a few times, even moved the wires one spot in each...

    i have a scuba tank i was thinking of using. it hold 80 cu ft @ 3000 psi. i was wondering if i would need a regulator or not. and that only cost 5 bucks to fill up at the scuba shop.

    my tag says york automotive, i think it came out of some kind of eagle. the tag says '87 and it wasnt rebuilt since then. it might have been a dealer install. it doesnt realy matter what kind it is, im still gonna use it. i would take the clutch off and look manually, but i need one of them...
