    xj 242 transfercase

    :???: when I put it in 4 low it will work and sometimes it wont. no clunk or any noises. I should say I just replaced the main shaft. but noiticed on the case there was a small hole (factory) that I put a 3/8 plug in .is the hole for like a vacume or something. thx ken
