Hey everyone! Is the fuel tank attached to the fuel tank skid plate? I want to take the plate off, sand it down and repaint it. Don't want to undo the nuts and drop the full fuel tank on my chest! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Dave

@Steel and SIne: Thanks for the advice! Stopped at O'reilly tonight and bought a 195 thermo, drained the radiator, blew out the heater core (You should see the crap that came out of it) flushed the radiator with water and the heater core lines really well then pulled the old/new thermo///it was...
