    Day 2... Cahnged out all the ignition and electrical in the engine compartment....even the distributor pick up assembly... cleaned and rerouted all the wires and hoses... May as well rebuild the carb while im here....no one has the gaskets so I will make my own from gasket sheet...

    I have been a CJ and Cherokee owner most of my life, but I have never owned a Grand. The one I am looking at is a 1999, Is there any normal problems I should be aware of and What should I be making sure is still good when I go to inspect it??? Thanks Guys and Gals for any help.

    I am missing coolant bottle and more.....basically i have the 2 heater hoses spliced together right by the thermostat no bottle and no hoses to the heater core...can anyone give me some pics and describe what I may be missing?:roll: This is on my 1989 Cherokee 4x4 4.0...

    I would say its brownish...i didnt smell it I will do that tomorrow, but I beleive it has lost its viscosity so i will drain some out and put in some new to test my theory.

    OVERHEATING TOO

    Anyone have some good pics of the coolant bottle area my xj is missing the coolant bottle and everything in that area related to cooling, they put a u-shaped hose from eninige back to engine and omitted the heatercore hoses and the whatever else goes there.
