yep, that is the issue. It is a rear facing child seat since he is a newbie. When he is old enough 2 turn around & be in a regular car seat it wont be an issue. thanks for the reply

xt, yep, they have the child seat anchors on the rear seat from the factory. 3 different mounting locations. dont know how long they have been doing that but I would say @ least since 07 Bounty Hunter, thanks for the welcome, I appreciate it. Andy
