I replaced the headlights on my 2001 TJ about two years ago with the Silverstars and I am very happy with them. I have heard reports of premature burn-outs, but I have had no problems with them. Much better light than the originals.

The 4-banger TJ with 5-speed came with 4.10 gears. With those big tires and no re-gearing, your engine will be in a bind and mileage will suffer. When I bought my 2001 it had 31" Mud Brutes. 5th gear was practically useless and in-town mileage was better than highway, 15 and 13 respectively...

I have the Cherry Bomb Turbo on my 2001 TJ 2.5, not a glass pack,so I can't say how it would sound. The Cherry Bomb Turbo is a little louder than stock, not obnoxious just a nice mellow tone. More noticeable at higher RPM at full throttle, sounds like more engine than I have. I am happy with it.

With my 2001 TJ 2.5l, in town mileage is about 16 and highway about 18 to 19, with mileage dropping off quickly past 65MPH

I just replaced mine on my 2001 2.5 TJ. Got the all-metal, double core radiator. The transmission line fittings will not leak, so you don't have to plug them.

I haven't done the mod yet, but the idea of going 300 miles on a tank of gas instead of 240 sounds good. I just have to remember to do it sometime when my tank is about empty.
