90 YJ, with AMC 360, Had 999 in it, Torque converter left us, Waggy 727 ready to go in, Am trying to install 231 Tcase. Everything measures the same. but 231 goes on to about 1/2 inch from mating. Don't want to force it. Can anyone tell me what is holding it back?

I've got a 90 YJ with a 360. Bolted up to the 999 no problem, Torque converter didn't last long though. Am currently swapping in a TF 727 from a Grand Wagoneer. Only problem so far is the 231 Tcase doesn"t seem to want to slide all the way on. Goes within 1/2 an inch and stops. Big thing though...

Any place that sells air compressors will have the pressure cutoff switch. For air tanks weld up a tube bumper that's airtight, weld in a couple 1/4" pipe couplings and you have your air tank. use one front and rear you will have dual tanks
