I just went through the same thing with my 85 CJ7. Turns out there was a bend valve in the carb. Instead of jacking around with ripping the carb apart, I purchased a remanufactured carb. The original carb that was removed will be a tinkered with when the snow starts to fly. Not sure if that...

My CJ has 3 point belts so I am sure they will work.

NOt sure if belts from an 85 CJ7 will work, but I have a complete set (minus the mounting hardware). LMK if this is something you might be interested in....

I am in the process of installing a few amps under the rear seat of my CJ7. Anybody else do this and if so do you have any pix? I am looking for the best way to route the cables and wires in the tub to the rear seat. I am kind of anal about not having any wires or cables visible.
