I always use Big-O Tires. They are usually the best $$$, will support you forever if you have flats/damage and they will price match any local competitor.

make sure your distributor advance is connected directly to ported vacuum. Set your timing at 650rpm and at 9000' your timing should be 18deg, at 5000 your timing should be at 14deg. Cap the vac source when setting.

I'm looking at your current vacuum lines and see a couple problems. You have your PCV valve routed to the air cleaner (A FRAM breather should go there instead) I have HEI distributors in stock if needed still. I own a Motorcraft conversion business.
