Thanks for the input. The winch had pulled a few to many.. And its lower bolts had disappeared somewhere along the way.. its completey my fault for not doing my usual inspections.. But, now I'm able to put a little more design and some hooks/shackles on the winch mount while I repair this mess...

My winch, and "bumper" attached to these points. And my hood cage attached to them. My idea is to create a whole frame about 7" from the front. I will actually have the upper rails with a saddle in design so I can bolt them ROM the frame farther back as well. The rust in the pic is all flash...
