it is your drain hose for your evaporator it is nessasary to drain water away from it if your passenger floor is getting wet the trac the water runs down is clogged and water isnt getting to hose to drain outside

Did a couple things latley new HEI distributor Motor craft 2150 Carb and smity built src front bumper with a 12k winch and 4 lights

you should replace both at the same time and get new pigtails as they will be full of oil i work at a goodyear dealer and we see it all the time just fixed a p1391 last week and the pigtails we so oil soaked you could pull the wires out of it by hand Good Luck
