I have a muncie 465 transmission but not sure what year and not sure how to find out what year it is so i can get the clutch and bell housing I need

I Have an 87 yj with a 400 chevy small block and also a different transmission, I need a new clutch and a new bell housing but I'm not sure how to find the one I need

But thanks guys, I'll get the correct bushing and if that doesn't work I'll be changing the clutch

Yeah, sorry about that, I just bought it and hadn't even looked at it myself yet

Mines a rod instead of cable, I do have a bushing missing but I kind of fabricated my own, but it's not perfect, do you think that would make that big of a difference

I'm thinking that it was converted from hydraulic to mechanical, it has a 400 sb Chevy and also a different transmission that I'm not sure about, so more than likely that was changed too. We went as far as we could as far as adjusting it goes so I'll change the clutch this weekend.

New problem, the linkage is all mechanical, no master or slave cylinder, so it has to be that the clutch is bad right?

I don't know much about this but my father in law said he adjusted it today and it is a little better now, but I will take your advice, thanks.

I Can stomp the clutch to the floor and put it in gear and it still moves, is it that my clutch is bad or jus needs to be adjusted? It is also very hard to get in and out of gear, please help I can't afford to door work thy doesn't need to be done
