Yep, everything is nice and tight now, it's actually turning into a nice little ride!

So, my brother in laws jeep is starting rough. If you cycle the fuel pump 2 or 3 times it fires right up... If it sits for more than a few hours, it starts hard again.my first guess would have been a fuel pressure regulator, but after I changed it out, I let it sit over night it started hard...

Well Jeepers, I did in fact find the banging and clanging sound a few months ago. It was the the body mounts Most toward the front were rotted through the tub, and the bolts were hitting the floor! It was hard to tell by just looking because the rot holes were the exact same size as the body...

So yeah, I bought a used yj sound bar on craigslist... I figured the price was right, and if it didn't fit or if I destroyed it tying to modify it, I wouldn't really be at much of a loss. It did fit in place pretty good...I didn't have to modify the sound bar at all, but I did have to trim up...

I was thinking that...I'll give it a try!

Can anyone tell me if a yj sound bar would directly fit a tj? Or would I have to modify it?

Thank you, I'll look into that a little further. I grabbed the steering column and gave it a firm shake before...seemed pretty tight. Ill check it again, maybe with the wheels in the air..thanks again!
