I have a 2000 TJ 4cyl 5spd when I go in reverse there's a clicking sound my locale mechanic has no idea and wants to take the trany out to see if that's the problem. I don't want to start trouble shooting this and that, hope someone has had the same problem and can give me the answer. :(

I was wondering if any one has done a successful diesel swap with a TJ. I have a 2000 with the 4 banger. Just wondering if it's possible and not to $$$$$$. Thanks JJ:shades:

I have a 2000 TJ SE. When you back up it makes a clicking sound, my local Mechanic thinks it's in the clutch area but would have to pull the Transmission a be sure $$$$$$$$. hoping for a cheap fix any idea's? Thanks' JJ
