Yea I use them for corner spotting I have them angled to the corners of the hood to give me light on the side of the trails my head lights have a mind of their own. They work great but they sux for trail use. I really want to find a HID conversion for the ole beast but no such luck so far...

You'd have to compress the coil man and thats a whole other can of worms I'd just leave your mods in unless you feel you need to replace them. It sux you got shafted on the purchase. But the bright side is you got a set if you need them.
