I got a 81 cj 5 with a 4 speed trans.I want to know how much work it is to swap it for a automatic turbo 4wheel 350 trans? What kind of problems i might run into.

My breaks in the front are disk brakes and the back ones are drums,and they all are in good shape.I think it is the master cylinder that i should upgrade not sure which one.I think it is from a newer jeep.Thanks for all the help

i got a cj5 with some 33's and my brakes are kind of spongee.I remembered a while back someone said to use a TJ or a Wrangler brake booster.Not 100% sure if im on track with this so any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Hey what type of shims are you talking about?The instuctions i got said to shim the spacer that sits in the housing,but the only shims that was on my axles was the one that sits on the back of the backplate and the housing.Thankc again for your info and feedback

RE: Oil Leak did anybody have there wheel bearing always breaking.My driver side bearing for my new one piece axles keeps on breaking.I did press it on down to the lip on the axle,press the bearing retainer to the bearing and installed the axle with no shims,could that be the problem?Need...

hey you guys,What is a truss? im installing one piece axels in my amc20 rearend and it was suggested that i put a truss along with my one piece axels.Seriuosly thinking about doing anything that would help strengthing the amc20.I am runing 33's and a 307 v8.Thanks
