    well, it doesn't seem to drop much...but it has already dropped down. I just don't know how much room I have for error, if there is any room for error? Maybe it won't move at all, from the pivot point...I need confirmation. I have made it this far..now I would hate to have to take it in for...

    RE: Re: RE: Body work questions yes the actuator went bad, well actually the gear inside cracked, a guy from work is trying to gorilla glue it together for me...so I can use it. My big concern aat this point is if the top pivot point is going to fall outta place while the actuator is out...

    I found it (actuator), and removed it and turned the blend door to open/close it and it worked!!! Yipppi NOW the big question, by removing the actuator motor for the blend door, can that blend door fall outta position from the top pivot point???? Without the actuator in place the bottom pivot...

    Thanks for the welcome antsinmypants!!! Yeah it does suck about the rent...live and learn! I am trying to locate the actuator now...so I can remove it and bring to the dealer. Anything I can do to try and fix this for as little as possible will be a huge weight off my shoulders.

    Does anybody know if there is such a part as a "mode door actuator" for my Jeep? I sound way more technical then I really am by the way, just been doing a lot of reading! I also called Chrysler and told them my error and they said that would be the first thing to check. I would like to try...

    Thanks for the suggestions...I will try kicking the darn thing *giggles* The compressor is kicking on... Let me try to explain it a little better: No matter what temp you set the Heater OR AC to..it blows HOT ONLY.. The error on the display is saying System Faults 23 = Right temperature door...
