hello everybody......still getting some noise from my jeep.....took a closer look at my rear trac bar ''from frame to diff'' some one has welded (really bad welding) a piece of the bracket back on ...the diff side...by doing this they have also attached the bolt to the bracket ...i hope i havent...

i got it up in the air today and i found 1 bad u joint so i changed them both on the front shaft .....but it still vibrating the whole tub i think im babying it to much ........by putting in new joints made a diffrence .....but still vibration ....??????? i know the chain will make noise when...

i got my yj winterized (i checked the antifreeze )so it snowed lots today and well we went playin and mid way through the trail my tcase started makin lots of noise and causing the jeep to shake and i dont want to drive it in 4x4 i think its my tcase(i got a spare) im pretty shure thats what it...

i also have a 89 yj thats ...did the comp.bypass same problem ...starting is goood but no back firing for me ... but did have intake leak at the head on 6th cylinder ....could br the problem ...for start up ...but my yj would run good after warm up...when its running spray some brk kleenz around...

thats grerat info on the trany fluid (gear oil) did not know that one was following valvolines fluid spec book will make the change in my shop.... i would flush out your transmission .... use regular gear oil for a day or so. then put in synthetic...

your intensions are great, you gotta lift her, remember big tires are great but you need the gearing to spin em ... there is a lot of lift options ask questions .....i did!!!

what size are the tires on the rims.....

Re: Who's internet is it? i have several body mounts on my yj that are rotting out and falling apart would a mild body lift fix this or can i get some spacers machined (friend is a machinest ) and if so will i need a bushing or a rubber between the washer and the bottom of the body mount...

parts hey guys and gals i have a 89 yj 4.2 some engine mods ...i have recently aquired dana's front and rear with 4.10 for my jeep and gonna lift her but ther are so many companies and options i know i want to clear 33 and it must be reliable in the winter gets verry cold up here...
