i have the same problem and some days it is worse than others.

My 89 XJ has problems starting, i have been told to replace the Fuel pressure regulator. I'll hop into it after it sitting for 5 minutes 5 hours or 5 months, it doesnt seem to matter i have to hold the key cranking on it for a good 6 to 8 seconds. any input is appreciated. Thanks -Matt Chapin.

i wouldnt even take anything out of the garage with out a track bar on it. your track bar keeps your axle centered and underneath your jeep, very bad idea to take it out. and i dont know if taking it would would really make it flex anymore, but YJ's have leaf springs so you might be thinking...

prolly a 2 if you have all the right tools

check your u-joints, and if they are good; put those aluminum alignment shims inbetween the rear axle and leafs. that would be my guess if the U-joint binds, but on my XJ i put a 4'' buget boost and in 2wd i could pound it pretty well with no more vibrations that it had before.
