    hard top?

    Hard Tops makes great dog houses when you take them off and sit them by the barn - you can store stuff on top and the dog stays dry. Try the soft top on a cold day before you buy one. IMHO you don't need one plus I just like the top down on impulse.

    GPS gurus, What do you think of this?

    Magellan has some hand helds for under $300 that are rugged, water proof, etc. They are not the fancy "voice directions" but for marking trails, hazards, camp sites, etc. they are great. They have color screens and uploadable maps with POI (Points of Interest). Since it's hard to lock stuff...

    Gas Prices in your town ???

    In Dallas area it's $2.60 to 2.70. I've pumped gas at 16 for .19 and remember the heart break when it hit $1. None of the pumps were made for three digits.
