Hey everybody. About a month ago I posted a thread about tires. After what I read here, and on other forums... I decided to go with retreads. The options they gave me for the carcasses are BFG A/T casing or a Bridgestone Duelers My Wrangler is mostly a DD. I mud her a few times. 5-6/year...

Thanks for all the help!! I lifted her up and took the tires off. What a mess. Mud in the tires, clumped to tie rod, caked in springs. There was even mud caked in the vents on the discs. Lets just say I now have the cleanest front end in the world now, and my Jeep is about 150 lbs lighter...

Thanks for the advice. Im pretty new with this. I got all the mud off of the tires and most of it from all the nooks and crannies...That stuff just doesn't want to come off. The shakes are gone until i hit about 50mph. Not nearly as bad as it was. I'll get the rest of the underside...
