    I will be the first.

I'm in Central NC. I've been to URE a couple times, haven't been in the last year or so! I'd be up for a run once I get the next work on the jeep done! (if that ever gets to happen!

    Cheap wheels

Has anyone seen any deals on wheels lately? I'm looking for a 15x10. It's function and not looks I need. I remember seeing deals while just surfing, but I'm not finding anything lower than 75 bucks or so lately? Anyone seen any good deals?

SYE kit necessary for 4 inch lift?

I'm also comparing the two kits. the RC is 50 less than the SkyJacker. But the SkyJacker comes with a bumpstop spacers and a drop down pitman arm. Does anyone know if the Pitman arm is necessary? I've installed RC kits before, once on a TJ and once on a F250. They installed easily, but I think...

    Faded Flare Remedy

I tried the heat gun on some bumper jugs I had laying around in the garage. It made the world of difference and cost 0.00. I'll definately be trying that on the fenders and other parts that are fading. It's right in my price range of making the jeep purty! 8)

    This BUCKIN' Jeep!!

Yep I'd agree sounds like a grounding issue. Lights, gauges, and running issues can all stem from a single bad ground. Not sure where to start at, but maybe someone else knows which ground may impact all these things? I'm thinking one under the dash area somewhere...

    xj front axle vacuum problems.

THanks. I've tried that. So far so good. Though I havn't had to use it all that much. I also found a ton of cracked vacuum lines and have been replacing them as I have found them.

    xj front axle vacuum problems.

Ok, this has probably be covered before, but I just havn't been able to find it. If some one knows what is going on then please tell me cuz I haven't got a clue. 91 xj, 4.0l. If I connect up all the vacuum lines, i have constant vacuum to both the ends of the front axle locking actuator...

tricky cherokee overheating, been there done that.

That is a good idea, and I will price it out. Another question is this. I have a donor xj that I have been using to 'revitalize' both the other two running xj's. I stole the water pump of the donor for the one that is overheating, and tossed the original one. is there anyway to tell if either xj...

tricky cherokee overheating, been there done that.

Ok. I have a 1988 jeep cherokee, closed cooling system on a 4.0l engine. It constantly over heats, just to humble me I believe. I have replaced the radiator, both upper and lower coolant hoses, expansion tank and cap (it did help alot!) headgasket. When I had the head off, i did a visual...
