$125? The cheapest I have found was $199. I also saw a site that showed how to build a cable line from scratch but I have not done either yet. Seems like everything I want for the Jeep is two hundred dollars. A new softtop, the posi-lock cable, new front bumper, and on and on.

I get around 16mpg and have a hard time going over 70mph. Mine has a B&M filtercharger. I do not know if it has any other mods, such as a new chip, but when i have the thing going a good rate and suddenly back off it reeks of fuel from the exhaust. I took it up to Manistee National Forrest...

I heard they were throwing all the parts laying around together and a lot of 2.5's got the auto trans when they bled out the last of the 6 cylinders to make way for the 4.0 retool. Its confusing to order a replacement, since the books claim all sorts of transmissions as being the right part...

    Jeep Junkie From Michigan

Don't feel bad, I was buried to the top of the front fenders in our backyard two weeks after buying my stock '98 TJ. They sent a semi hauler out to winch me out and he wouldn't get his wrecker anywhere near the yard. Our yard is like a dry bog that soaks up all the water in the spring thaw.

Yj with snowballing issues please help

If your looking for springs and an easy lift, try Ruff Country. I'm not a spammer or work for them but for under $500 you can get 4 new springs, shocks, transfer case lowering kit, front stabilizer and the sway bar/ trac bar links.

    Jeep Junkie From Michigan

Looks like your close to the mounds. Ever been? The only other ORV parks in our area are Turtle Creek, on Drumund Island and Rocks and Valleys in Harrison. Well, also The Badlands in Indiana. I live down the highway from you in Perry. I have a 95 YJ .

    Michigan Jeeper

Watch those deer up here. First Jeep(TJ) smoked by big doe before I had even one mod made. I am on Jeep number two, a YJ. The lift was cheaper but the vacuum motor problem came with it.

    2.5L performance?

Electric fan does help. Article in 4wd Can showed a turbo kit made from a junkyard Volvo turbo and some tricky plumbing.

hi Rio owner from Perry Michigan. Mine came with all the decals peeled off but the Rio name is on the registration. Mine was made so late the factory hood stops and mirrors are of the TJ design, My had no original radio, not even an antenna but has front speakers. 25 engine, auto with 3.73...

Jk drivers rarely wave in Michigan all other Wrangler drivers do, unless they are being driven by a wife/girlfriend or other.

    Vaccum Motor Problems??

As I understand it, the YJ is flawed and the only way to eliminate the vacuum motor problem is to replace it with a manual cable system. They are expensive, about $215.00. I found one on another site for $199.00 and another site that showed how to build your own. I will just save up for the big...
