    o to add to that im getting fire popin out of the in take...it starts and ides really rough...can you do me a favor and set yours to d center and tell me where your rotor is pointed...to see if its pointed at one on the distributor

    i havent checked the vacuum lines yet ill take a look at that...no this thing is a real nightmare..i tore it down to check the timing chain timing is all good...im looking at the map o2 and crank shaft sensor...and now the vacuum lines...lol

    Hey all, Ihave a 88 yj 2.5 tbi...i check the timing chain and set the distributor its pointed at 1...im still getting fire in the tbi....it wants to idle but then it pops every so often threw the tbi...and suggestions?

    but doesnt that point the rotor in between the 1 and 3 on the distrubitor?...i was always told the rotor should point at the one...and on the dampner should it be at 0 when at tdc?

    88 yj 2.5l tbi im installing a new distributor. im using the chilton book...the books says when im at top dead on the crank thant when its properly the rotor should be pointd at 6 o clock if the side of the block is 12...but in that potion the rotor is between the #1 and #3 on the rotor...
