Hello, Just bought an 88 yj, owner did not have a tach installed and i found a supposedly working original tach with the same harness, so I hooked it up and, nothing. No movement, no lighting, nada. Curious if any one knows where each wire goes so that i can check the appropriate connections...

stupid tach issue

i am having issues with my tach as well, did you figure this out yet? I did have problems with idling and stalling on my 88 too then i found one of the vacuum lines had come loose after i re-attached there were no problems
