07 unlimited HU question

I'm wanting to upgrade the stereo in my 07 sahara. It came with the infinity sound system but I want something with more power. I want to keep the stock HU and was wondering if it has a preamp output or if I need to buy a wire to RCA converter.

u can find amps that can be hooked up two ways. with rca's or though high's they will have a seperate plug on them with a little harness and they hook up with your speaker wires you will still have to wire the amp with the power, ground, and remote wire but with out the rca's you will run your speaker wires to that plug on the amp then from the amp you will run the wires to your speakers
