This is my first Jeep ever and I can't wait to get it on the road and off. I'm trying to find a replacement carb for this jeep, but am having a little trouble. I was recently given a Holley List#4548, 450 CFM, 4 barrel, but I am a noob so I don't know if this will work or even if that's a good carb to use. This Jeep is not going to be driven too hard and might get off road a couple times a year. I got this Jeep for a really cheap price and it's in REALLY nice condition and it will be perfect for my wife to use in the winter time with the full time 4 wheel drive.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Holleys are horrible off road unless you are racing and know how to tune them. I'd do a Carter (Edelbrock) or Rochester Quadrajet. The Holley was built to pass everything but the gas station. The Motorcraft version works better, but needs dialing in and the powervalve can be blown by any backfire.

Is there an existing carb on the Jeep? If so, is it stock?

I'd try and get it running with the stock stuff before I did a carb swap.
