1982 CJ7 5spd 258 4.2L 98k original miles...

Pulled this one out of the swamp and here we go!!!



First day home shes a mess....time for some cleanin scrubbin and sandin!







And the engine compartment was on fire when it was rolled out to the back 9.......ewwww

this is after cleaning the smoke and carbon damage......



has carpet on the floors dreading that removal job...green goo all over everything!!!!!

took apart and cleaned and rewired wich....works flawlessly now!!!!

Day 2...

Cahnged out all the ignition and electrical in the engine compartment....even the distributor pick up assembly...

cleaned and rerouted all the wires and hoses...










May as well rebuild the carb while im here....no one has the gaskets so I will make my own from gasket sheet!



And shes running!!!!!!!

First stop gas station!!!



p.s. You wouldnt beleive me if i told you what i spent on these doors....its still all a dream.







It even has CJ emblem in the inner door panel...windows work great!!
