Where could u possibly mount a tow reciever on an 87 wrangler?

they make one that mounts across the back, under the bumper. also, one that mounts across the front, above the bumper. or you can get a bumper with a tow receiver in it already

No I've gotta 89 jeep. When I need to tow it I bought a tow bar that hooks to the front under the bumper. It's called flat towing. Got mine from Cabelas. They also sell them atmost jeep stores.

I made one for my 88 YJ that looks almost identical to the picture Superj posted. Got a receiver for 15 bucks at Harbor freight and flat bar and tube stock from a local trailer builder. Total cost was about 30 bucks.
