I've been trying to find some info on the swap too. I know the engine will bolt up, but I've got questions about some of the hookups and plumbing. I've got an 88 XJ that I'm planning on swapping an AMC V8 into after Christmas. I'm just going to try and go the cheap route and just swap a factory 360 into it first and get it running, then if it turns out right I'll go crazy. It will be a carbed engine, and I'm willing to hack it up, so I'm hoping for a fairly straight forward deal. There was a guy here locally that had a 401 in an XJ, but I don't know what happened to it or him.....:???:
