1996 JGC limited

I just got a 1996 JGC limited and the guy that had it before me had to replace the front drive shaft and after he replaced it it had a thump which you can hear and feel a bit and sounds like its coming from the drivers front tire. The thump increases with speed. Any ideas? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like the drive shaft might not have been installed correctly.

I had this problem too. In my case the tire was out of balance. The tire looked fine but it was the spare for years. Have the balance checked. I ended up just replacing the tire
