2.5L to a 4.0 engine

I have a jeep cherokee with a 2.5 5 speed engine but I need more power how hard is to change it a what other problems I'm going to encounter? Please help

You need the whole drivetrain motor/trans/tcase, exhaust, wiring and computer, crossbars, motor mounts, rad and a few other things depending what year you have. Do you have oversized tires? If so, the power will be down unless you regear

Agreed ^ don't waste your time and money. Buy what you want. If your you have a nice suspension setup on ur current vehicle buy the new and swap it all then sell the old. A whole new xj will be less expensive than sourcing everything you need for the swap
