I just purchased a 2012 wrangler rubicon with the 3.6 penstar engine. The passenger side valve cover is leaking so I did some research to see how hard it is to replace. While reviewing the gasket replacement procedure I noticed a lot of people having issues with cylinder heads on this engine. The engine runs smooth with no knocks or ticking. I’d like to keep it that way. Is there anything I can do to help keep this engine running smooth aside from good oil and 3000mile oil changes. I did notice the intake seems to be pretty dirty like it’s getting a little oil blow bye. I probably gonna get the oil separator kit. Do they make a more reliable head?
