2WD to 4WD comanche

Hay guys. I recently acquired a 1990 JEEP Comanche with 2 wheel drive to fix up. What I would like to do is take the front axle out and put in a front axle from the 4wd Cherokee donor i have in the back yard. What would I be looking at changing and adding? I will have all the parts to convert it but I hear something about the output shafts being different and differences between the manual and automatic transmissions. Any help I could get on this would be really helpful.
Thanks Guys

Alex

PM me if you have specific questions man, I just finished doing the exact same thing to my 2wd Cherokee lol auto 2wd to 4x4 5speed.

You will need the 4wd transmission from the donor along with the transfer case and shifter linkage. It's a pretty common conversion.

Welcome to the MJ side, I have an '89.
