I am running a stock rebuilt 304 in my 1977 CJ7. I bought a motorcraft 2100/2150 with 1.21 stamped on side of it. It was bought online from someone claiming to be a specialist in these carbs. The first one was junk. This second one I think is too. It was supposed to be built for fuel economy, but was burning really rich. I changed out the #51 jets to #48 but it is still rich. Its been a while, but I think my original carb (that got 18mpg!) had #42 jets in it. Can anyone tell me with any amount of certainty what size jets I should be running for good fuel economy with descent overall performance. This jeep has undergone a 3 year complete frame off restoration and is mainly a street queen.
