grab a dodge 727 transmission bolt right up to the 360 there stong enough to stand behind my old 5.9 cummins

What are you wanting to do? Are you wanting to swap the engine out for a smaller cube engine? or one not as built as your current. If so then that is easy to do with the AMC engines. the 6cyl and 8cyl egines share the same trans and bellhousing, so either engine will bolt right in. If you go V8 it is a direct bolt up, if you go 6cly you will have to change one motor mount (drivers side I believe)

Ok I have the t4 transmission to go on a 258 in line six but I need to know what the bolt size is that goes from the transmission to the bellhousing there are 4 of them and I am missing them. Does anyone know what it is

Not sure about yours but mine are 3/4" bolts. If you are switching to a standard trans, are you changing your tcase and the rear axle as well?? Your current qudra trac tcase can not be used with a standard trans, and your rear axle is off-set to the pasenger side for use with the tcase. If you just change the case and not the rearend you will have ujoint issues. May think about just sticking with an auto and swaping engines.

Why downsize?

It looks great as is, and would certainly be fun to drive!
